March 2026 Product Release Highlights: Big Things Just Landed in Winston Match and SmartSandbox

Published by SmartRecruiters Team on March 13, 2026

Welcome to the March Product Release! At SmartRecruiters, we’re always listening and innovating in order to improve our customers’ hiring experience. Launching a product is just the beginning. This month, we’re expanding on some of our favorite new offerings, including Winston Match and SmartSandbox, for more nuanced capabilities that keep your workflow running smoothly.

Release Highlights

Winston Match Subscores

Recruiters now have the option to display Winston Match subscores directly in the applicant list of a job. When enabled, a single Match subscores column shows the Skills, Experience, and Education subscores side by side, giving recruiters more detailed context while reviewing candidates without opening each profile. By surfacing dimension-level subscores at a glance, this update makes Winston Match insights even more accessible during high-volume screening. Recruiters can quickly understand why a candidate’s overall match score looks the way it does, prioritize follow-up more confidently, and still retain full control over whether and how subscores appear in their day-to-day workflow.

SmartSandbox Expanded Capabilities

We’ve now expanded SmartSandbox capabilities to include job approvals, offer approvals, and email templates. Approval workflows can be mirrored across environments to ensure consistent logic and routing, and email templates can be synced to validate messaging and triggers end-to-end. These updates make going live even smoother, cut manual effort, and give admins more confidence when rolling out changes.

Looking Ahead

Here at SmartRecruiters, we’re all about facilitating our customers’ smarter and faster hiring process. These updates are just one step in our ongoing mission to simplify recruiting and empower TA professionals. In addition to these highlighted products, we release other enhancements monthly.
